KITCHEN FOUNDRY

Your food has something to say.

Let’s give it somewhere to go.

Practical guidance, mentoring and access to mobile kitchens so that people can develop distinctive food offers, reach customers and work towards trading independently.

Our Purpose

WHY KITCHEN FOUNDRY EXISTS

We believe that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Kitchen Foundry exists to bridge that gap using the universal language of food. By providing high-spec mobile kitchens and structured professional support, we remove the massive capital barriers that prevent talented individuals from starting their own culinary journeys.

Our model is built on autonomy. We don't just offer jobs; we provide the vehicle for people to become their own bosses. Through specialised training, mentoring, and direct access to trading locations, we help our participants build sustainable livelihoods, gain commercial independence, and rewrite their own futures through enterprise.

Distinctive food deserves practical foundations.

Short term jobs, placements and training can help people with significant barriers to employment move forward. However, when that support ends, income and a practical route to move forward often disappear with it. Kitchen Foundry is being developed to extend that route. Participants build practical food and business skills, test their menus with live customers and strengthen the foundations needed to continue trading beyond the programme.

Kitchen Foundry will combine practical guidance, mentoring and supported access to mobile kitchens. Participants will develop their own food offers, understand the numbers behind them and test them with customers while keeping ownership of what they  create.
